I’ve been getting rather bored of my life since I have come back from Australia in May 2017, so I thought with 2018 on the horizon, it’s a good catalyst to begin something new.
I’ve come up with some ideas which would make for an interesting 2018 for myself. potentially topping 2017 in terms of adventure.
- Recently I have been fascinated by snowboarding, but have never done it before. It seems like a cool hobby to have. It is a good excuse to travel to places to be able to snowboard and see different scenery.
- I’ve got a number of holidays to take at work, I’ve come up with a rad idea to just spread them out and take a fair number of long weekends.. (if I’m allowed to of course). I’ve began a list of a number of places that I would love to see around Europe. In order I’m hoping to do; Slovakia (Jasna), Sweden (Stockholm), Switzerland (Zurich), France (Paris), Netherlands (Amsterdam), Belgium (Brussels), Czech (Prague), Norway (Oslo), Finland (Helsinki), Portugal (Porto), Spain (Barcelona), Italy (Rome), Hungry (Budapest).
My thought process on this is I would start with the snowboarding places first then as the skiing season ends go places which are tourist attractions to see somewhere new- some places might change the more refined my searches become, but penciling in at the moment. At every location I will try immerse myself in the culture as much, as I can in the short time I would be there. If I can pull this off, it would be a brilliant 2018 and 2019 would have some big shoes to fill.
